Curious, nervous, or both? Good. Here are the answers to everything you’re probably already asking yourself before you hit that book button.
We offer two main session packages:
Both include Nani behind the lens, Misty directing posing and coaching, and use of our dressing room before the shoot. Retouching is available as an add-on at $15 per photo.
We send a Venmo request after your inquiry is confirmed. Payment plans are available for premium packages — just ask.
Yes, for premium packages we can work out a payment plan. Just mention it when you reach out and we’ll figure something out that works for both of us.
Here’s the honest breakdown of a typical session:
It’s a professional shoot but it doesn’t feel like one. First-timers are some of our favorite clients.
We specialize in boudoir, editorial, alt fashion, vintage, and expressive portrait photography — including artist and musician press shots and EPK photos. Whether you’re booking something empowering just for yourself or need high-impact visuals for your brand, we’ve got you.
We also shoot NSFW and suggestive content within our boundaries. Everything is consent-based and discussed before the shoot.
We shoot primarily out of our private studio in Signal Hill, Long Beach. The controlled environment — the lighting, the backdrops, the setup — is what makes a Look Gross photo a Look Gross photo.
We do not shoot weddings or standard on-location portrait sessions. That’s intentional. If you need something outside the studio, reach out and we can discuss it.
Absolutely. If having someone with you makes you feel more comfortable or hyped, bring them. Just let us know in advance so we can have the space ready.
Yes. You are never required to share your identity publicly. We take privacy seriously.
We do require all clients to sign our waiver using their legal name — this is strictly for legal and liability purposes on our end, and that information stays with us.
Makeup: We don’t provide makeup services, but you’re welcome to bring your own MUA. Just give us a heads up in advance so the dressing room is ready. We work with a few great MUAs and are happy to connect you if you need a recommendation.
Props: We don’t stock props, but you’re welcome to bring whatever you want to incorporate. If you need help sourcing something specific, we can assist for an additional fee.
Outfits: Bring your own — that’s part of what makes your shoot yours.
We recommend booking two weeks to a month in advance. Sessions fill up and we want to give your shoot the time and attention it deserves. Last-minute requests are possible — just reach out and we’ll see what we can do.
Every session includes a full styled edit — color grading, exposure, contrast, and the cinematic look we’re known for. Retouching is a separate add-on at $15 per photo.
After you receive your gallery, you select the images you want retouched and we invoice you separately.
If you need images by a specific date, let us know when you book and we’ll do our best to work around it.
Yes — BTS is available as an add-on for $100. We film your session on a vintage Handycam and deliver two things: the raw footage and a fully edited 30-second reel ready for Instagram or TikTok.
Prefer to capture your own? You’re welcome to bring your phone and film throughout the session. We have a phone stand available.
Yes, with boundaries. We shoot suggestive, sensual, and artistic content that celebrates your vibe — never exploitative. We discuss limits, inspiration, and comfort levels before the shoot. Everything is consent-based and handled with care.
Our private studio is in Signal Hill, California — right in the heart of the Long Beach area with easy access from LA and OC. Exact address is provided after booking confirmation.
